Why Is Underwear Choice So Critical in Vaginitis?

In vaginitis, underwear choice can directly affect comfort and daily symptom burden through moisture management and thermal balance.

Prolonged moisture in the vaginal area can increase irritation and discomfort. So the key factor is not only style, but how the fabric manages local microclimate.

Guidelines often recommend breathable options. In practice, this means choosing products that support airflow and do not retain wet sensation for long periods.

A critical point here: fiber name alone is not enough. Fabric geometry, yarn structure, and moisture transfer performance should be assessed together.

In our JET product, which uses a polyamide-based C-channel fabric structure, Medicaltex internal lab tests measured around 3x moisture transfer and 3x thermal conductivity versus a cotton reference product.

We position this finding not as a stand-alone treatment, but as comfort and symptom-management support alongside physician-led care.
